Annual Pie Sale!

The middle school Friends of Rachel club is having its annual Pie Sale from now till Nov. 23rd. The fresh, homemade pies (made with fresh, not canned fruit, and all-natural ingredients with no transfat) from Estes Park Pie Shop & Bakery will be ready for pick-up at EPMS on Wed., Nov. 25 between 9 a.m.-noon--just in time for Thanksgiving. They can be frozen for up to 6 months, so buy enough to last you through the holidays, and comfort you into the new year!

We're selling Pumpkin, Sweet Potato, Cherry, Apple, Triple Berry, Cherry-Peach,  and Strawberry-Rhubarb (or any other of your favorite pies sold at the Pie Shop). Fruit pies come with either a crumb or crust top. Pecan pies are $16; all others are $15.

This fundraiser benefits Bright Christmas, and for every pie sold, our club earns $5.50. Last year, we donated 100% of our profits --$500--to the Bright Christmas fund. This year we hope to at least double that amount--and still be able to afford the postage to send the collection of stuffed animals, baby hats and soccer gear from our fall donation drive to Zanmi Lasante in Haiti.

To order your own array of scrumptious pies, please contact me. We can arrange for a salesperson to visit you in person or I can take your order and pass it along to one of them here at school.

Don't miss this great opportunity to eat a wonderful pie and help some great people in your own hometown.
